Michelle teaches PrAta yoga which is an alignment based, heart infused style of hatha yoga. She strives to engage students through a challenging yet rewarding practice. She brings a passion for the power of relationship, a study of Indian philosophy, and an interest in Sanskrit to all her classes. Several pulmonary illnesses have inspired a dedication to the practice of mindful breathing. Michelle has worked as a welder for the last 26 years and has a BFA in Ceramic Art. She began practicing yoga in 2001 and became a 200Hr Registered Yoga Alliance teacher in 2011. Michelle is in the process of completing her 500Hr yoga certification. She deeply and graciously bows to all of her teachers at Seattle Yoga Arts and to her students, past and present for all they have given her.
