SEAN BRADLEY

Dr. Bradley began his journey in natural medicine when he became interested in herbal and physical medicine while in high school and studying martial arts.  He continues this journey as a Licensed Naturopathic Physician and an East Asian Medicine Practitioner in the state of Washington, while also teaching martial arts and meditation as a 9th Degree black belt in Sinmoo Hapkido. 

Dr. Bradley received both his ND (Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine) and MSAOM (Master of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) from Bastyr University where he was not only a student, but was a teaching assistant for Human Anatomy, Pulmonology, Tui Na, and IV Therapy. He completed his studies at Bastyr after doing an externship through Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine at Shu Guang and Yue Yang Hospitals in Shanghai, China.  Following this externship, Dr. Bradley stayed in Asia for six months and continued his studies in medicine and also meditation, traveling to Thailand, Cambodia, Taiwan, and Tibet.  

In the martial arts world, Dr. Bradley teaches the Korean martial art of Sinmoo Hapkido.  He has taught a regular program since 1998 at Colorado University and continued with the founding of Washington Sinmoo Hapkido in 2003.  He has travelled and conducted seminars in places such as, Mexico, Canada, Columbia, South Korea, Germany, Switzerland, Finland, Belgium, Latvia, Mauritania, Morocco, China, and throughout the USA.  He has served as the assistant to his teacher, Grandmaster Ji Han-jae for nearly twenty years.  He is the Northwest Representative for Sinmoo Hapkido, serves as the regional director, and conducts a regular video blog, the Foundations of Sinmoo Hapkido.  In addition, he teaches frequent meditation seminars around the world using, not only studied the techniques taught by his Sinmoo Hapkido teacher, but also practices from Thailand, Taiwan, Tibet, China, and Korea.  In 2014 Grandmaster Ji Han-jae promoted Dr. Bradley to 9th Degree black belt and gave him his own system of Hapkido, Samil Sinmoo Hapkido.  He currently teaches a children's program at Maya Whole Health.

Dr. Bradley aims to live his life to the fullest and remains a student in all aspects of his life.  He has a passion for learning and sharing to improve the health and well-being of his patients and students.  He maintains that all aspects of a person's health; mind, body, and spirit, must be addressed if a person is to reach optimal health.
